- Gary and his wife Dian have a passion for collecting stone and mineral specimens, cutting and polishing stone and finding different uses for stone. They have traveled and collected specimens from many states and several countries including Russia, Latvia,Yugoslavia, Canada, and Mexico. This passion has become for them, Garys Rock Shop, a specialty store for rockhounds, jewelers, and nature enthusiasts, and Elegant Stone Products, producers and installers of granite and other natural stone countertops, including some manmade and green products. Both are located in Viroqua Wi., view at garysrockshop.net and elegantstoneproducts.com. Gary also does in-house repairs of damaged stone as well as in cemeteries. They do alot of the rock and mineral collecting and go to the large Rock & Gem Show in Tucson every year to purchase product for the store, as well as attending regional shows. We offer lapidary lessons at our store along with a complete line of supplies tools and material. We purchase collections from estates etc. and have many hard to find or no longer available specimens.
